Mousse au chocolat cake, chocolate mousse cake recipe





Well when comes to cakes I love chocolate cakes. This cake is topped with rich chocolate mousse. This mousse is made from cream and 70% quality dark chocolate. And it is the best cream I ever made. And in our kitchen is pretty popular now. Well, the chocolate mousse cake disappears so fast that I must make another soon.


This chocolate mousse is originally from France and it can be used to cakes, also to cupcakes and other dessert and you can put this chocolate cream also on your coffee so good.




How to make best mousse au chocolat


First of all, you will need 100 g that is one chocolate bar of quality at least 70 % of dark chocolate. Please use quality chocolate or you will not have as much tasty mousse as you want. Then you will need for this one chocolate bar 250 ml of cream. Only two ingredients are needed.


Break the chocolate into small pieces and put them to the water bath. When water starts to boil turn off the heat and pour 1/3 of cream to chocolate. The chocolate should be all covered by the cream. Let the chocolate melt in the cream, you can stir a little bit to help chocolate melt in the cream. After is chocolate melt stir until a smooth cream is formed then add rest of the cream and stir again. Then let cool at room temperature.


After is cream cool completely you can whip the cream. It is an important whip at low speed all the time. After 3-4 minutes is cream whipped and you can top your cake with this delicious chocolate mousse.

MOUSSE AU CHOCOLAT CAKE, CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE RECIPE



Prep time: 15 minutes plus 20 minutes chocolate mousse

Baking time: 30 - 35 minutes

INGREDIENTS


CAKE

to make this cake you will need small mug (180 ml) to measure the ingredients, I use two small forms for this recipe (18.2  x 9.2 cm)


1/2 cup sunflower oil

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1 cup of milk

2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder


CHOCOLATE MOUSSE


100 g dark chocolate (quality at least 70%)

250 ml cream

CHOCOLATE


40 g dark chocolate

1-2 tbs milk






INSTRUCTION


CAKE

1. Preheat oven for 180 degress. Prepare cupcakes forms and sprinkle them with oil.


2. In the bowl mix oil, sugar and egg.


3. Add milk, flour and baking powder and mix it again.


4. Fill the cupcakes and bake it 30 minutes until are lightly gold on top.


5. After are cupcakes bake let cool down about one hour.
